Guided Tour in the Finlayson Area
On Wednesdays and Fridays at 12 noon from Wed 25 June to Fri 22 August 2025.
Finlayson cotton mill was the biggest factory in Finland for decades. Established in 1820, the mill produced cotton yarn and fabrics to 1990s in the centre of the city. Most of the 19th century buildings still exist and today the historical mill area is full of new life. The guided tour explores both history and contemporary life of the area.
